Seedlings Founder and Literary Editor

Will J. Wood is an emerging writer, printer and filmmaker. A graduate of Cambridge University (where he studied poetry with Bhanu Kapil) and the well-respected London Centre for Book Arts, Will's work explores the world around him and his queerness through the deep traditions of letterpress printing and filmmaking. His poems and short stories have been published in numerous magazines, including t'ART, Nea, and Notes.

He is also an award-winning short film-maker, having won awards at London International Film Fest and Norwich Queer International Festival of Film. His films have been exhibited at festivals around the world, including New York, Milan, and Stockholm.

In 2023 he founded Seedlings Magazine, a hand-bound letterpress publication that has featured Robert Macfarlane, Olivia Laing, Johnny Flynn as well as hundreds of upcoming writers and artists whose work explores the natural world, while raising money for humanitarian and natural campaigns. Seedlings is for sale online, distributed by Public Knowledge and has been at zine fairs and festivals in Bristol, Southend and London.
