A letterpress print of ‘Inver’ a poem by Will J. Wood, mounted by thread on two analogue photographs he took in the Cairngorms.
‘Inver’ is about the in-and-out of time by the sea, and how it’s perhaps impossible to get truly lost when you’re with someone you love. It tells the story of the time my partner and I were hiking in the Cairngorms, while staying in nearby Inverness. The day drew on and we couldn’t find a path marked on an old OS map. As the earth became wetter we realised we were in a mountain bog. Once we finally reached a road, I ran to the car and ‘stooped’ down the hill, blasting what happened to be on the radio that evening, the ‘AMOR OO NANA’ of Lady Gaga’s Abracadabra.
‘Inver’ is printed on Hahnemühle Ingress stock from John Purcell and mounted on ‘Parch Marque’ by GS Smith. It was letterpress printed on Seedlings Press in October 2025. Measures 140mm x 260mm. Limited edition of 50. Free shipping to UK.
