'Kelsey Sue Girls 4 U' calls Alice Cockayne as she answers the phone, surrounded by the faces and wigs of her girls, welcoming her clients and us into a night of raunchy characters, that dazzle in their somehow totally convincing absurdity. Cockayne embodies her wild personas with such glorious effortlessness that midway through the show she can merely give a line to have them in stitches. Or just a word (come just to hear how she delivers 'cheesemongers'). Midway through her performance, she even arrives as the cleaner disappointed in (her own) mess, who proceeds to do questionable things with the thongs on the floor. Alice Cockayne whisks you into a genre and world of her own, where she is definitely queen.
