We’re excited to announce the details for the first meeting of the Seedlings book club!
Beginning August 25th, will meet monthly at The People’s Letters in Bethnal Green and alternate between reading poetry, fiction, and non-fiction — with an eye towards nature, craft, community, and experimental form.
The book club is open to all and there is no obligation to come every month. The first session is FREE to attend (though small donations are encouraged to help us cover venue costs). Please book your free slot here!
Ahead of the meeting, we will publish some thoughts/discussion points from our end on our substack. These will merely be potential starting points and not a rigid framework for the meeting! We hope to extend the discussion online in the comment section as well.
Keen to spotlight small presses, we have decided to begin with a Fourteen Poems publication, ‘She Will Need a Stable Boy’, a debut poetry pamphlet by Cornish poet Jaime Lock. (@jfrancelock)
